USA · 2025 Full Year Data

America's Top 25
Private Jet Airports.

Full-year 2025 departure data from ARGUS TRAQPak, cross-referenced with WingX. The U.S. accounted for 2,633,282 of the 3,878,336 global private jet departures in 2025 — a record high, up 5% year-on-year and 34% above pre-pandemic levels.

2025 Headline Findings
  • Florida dominates with 5 airports in the Top 25 — Palm Beach, Miami, Opa-Locka, Naples, Fort Lauderdale International, and Fort Lauderdale Executive — driven by ongoing wealth migration to the Sun Belt.
  • Texas holds 4 spots — Dallas Love Field, Houston Hobby, Austin-Bergstrom, and San Antonio — fuelled by corporate relocations and energy sector demand.
  • Fort Lauderdale International's 17.6% gain was the largest percentage increase on the entire list. Westchester County (+11.9%) and Washington Dulles (+11.4%) were second and third.
  • Van Nuys dropped 12.3% — largely attributed to the January 2025 Los Angeles wildfires that destroyed over 11,000 homes in the surrounding area.
  • Palm Beach fell 18.3% from 2nd to 4th — analysts attribute this primarily to recurring airspace restrictions when President Trump is in residence at Mar-a-Lago.
  • Washington Dulles surged from 13th to 5th — the most dramatic single-year positional gain, driven by government, lobbying, and defence sector demand.

"The U.S. was responsible for roughly 2.63 million of the 3.88 million private jet departures (WingX / ARGUS TRAQPak 2025 Business Aviation Review) in 2025 — but those flights aren't spread equally. A handful of airports handle the overwhelming bulk of the traffic, and they do so because of two factors: proximity to money, and world-class FBO infrastructure."
